How do I get in touch with other users? I tried sending "emails" through the forum to a couple of admins but I don't know if they received them.

You can always ask them yourself and make note of it. Specifically who were you trying to contact?

As we are currently experiencing some problems with our mail backend, some mails sent via the forum might not get delivered. We're working on a solution and will hopefully have it resolved shortly.

On a related note, private messaging will be implemented in the near future so keep your eyes open.

While you're at it, could you make the Avatars work correctly? For me it was not possible with either FireFox, IE or Opera to use a custom avatar.
