Map editor?
This would be EPIC. Just saying. I realize it probably wouldn't fit into the budget and would be a nightmare to implement but people can dream right?

RE: Map editor?
Hopefully we can just do everything inside blender and port it into the game like Crystalspace, and irrlicht. (there are many more, too many to list here).
I know the guy Campbell Barton (now an official blender employee) did the quake 3, and delta 3D export script in an afternoon each. He also did it 100% free!! Hopefully he will be able to talk with GRIN or Fatshark and we can be able to make some maps to help keep this excellent game alive!
From what i gather this was done using the diesel game engine by GRIN. I can not find anything on user created content, or user maps for older games. i would really love to contribute to this game artistically!
I have 5 years worth of seamless textures i can contribute, and lots of other assets as well like sound effects, and low poly trees (animated).
Even if it is not possible for us to make maps, you still have to sit back and marvel at the beauty of the existing maps. Fatshark really did a great job on this product. In the future I am going to buy their products/DLC without hesitation! This is a really great team!

RE: Map editor?
Isn't Green giant demoing a engine that fatshark (or a branch of fatshark) are making? If so why not port LaG to that engine and then you can release the SDK as it is YOUR engine? (plus that engine IS SICK!)
So many awsome games coming over the next few month's! Just Cause 2, ModNation Racers and LaG to name a few!

Being bored like the person I am, it is possible to create your own maps but you can't play them online unless its a lan party or have your own servers to host on...
Extracting the Lng Game and then taking some models putting it into a 3d modeler then making your custom map from that and any custom models that you add and viola but again very impossible and i don't recommend you do this becuase it'll be in copyright infringement i think =s
