RE: DLC maps
This is a good idea, but you would have to provide some sort of flanking mechanisms to open up the gameplay.
A canyon would work, you could just have some pathways that go up the side, maybe a cave or two?
Blood Gulch anyone?

Oh my. Blood Gulch, Wild West style. Never thought about something like that. That would make an amazing map for a few of the game types.
I think a forested area would very cool. Not too heavily, but not easy to see one end to the other. Lots of brush to hide in and maybe even a stream and a clearing where the fights might really start taking off. Hey, maybe even a cabin or two to try and hold out in on a Robbery or even Greed mode.
Never forget the Gunslinger's Creed, or have you forgotten the face of your father?

An underground mine would also be an excellent asset. If anyones played uncharted 2, then it would play similar to the new map; The Fort. <3 that map.

In powder keg you should have to blow up the other gangs cabin.
Great idea! Might have to make the forest area on a mountainside or something so it isn't just a simple straight shot from to the other. They could even make it have a nice fog effect to really give it some atmosphere.

RE: DLC maps
The forest would really complicate the moving from one base to another (not a bad thing). You would have a clearing obviously, which would be watched the most, but people could sneak through the forest as well.
Also, you don't want to make it too dense or too hard to see through. We don't want to promote camping now.

RE: DLC maps
I think a map that took place on 2 oil rigs would be sweet Each could have 2 or 3 levels and in the middle would be maybe a few buildings/wagons/crates and miscellaneous objects. It would remind me of There Will Be Blood.

That sounds sweet. possibly have some tree houses or tree forts as team bases and smaller platforms and spots for Trappers to take a haven in. maybe have smaller tree houses that interconnect so that there is some kind of vertical gameplay involved as well.
