Finding a server is a massive chore
Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy L&G, it's one of the few Western games out there, and it's great fun once you find a game - but the problem is finding a game in the first place!!
Maybe it's because I'm playing from Northern Ireland and everyone else is in Europe or the US, but it is impossible for me to get into a server. Time and time and time again I fail to connect and I spend more time trying to get into a game than actually PLAYING the game.
The fact there are little to no filtering options in the server browser makes it even worse for me - why on earth would I want to see servers which are full, empty, or have about 900 ping?
This has probably been complained about ad nauseam, but it is a crippling flaw to an otherwise brilliant experience - spending 2 hours looking for a game just to play 1 match for 15 minutes is NOT fun.

You can always start a server yourself, people will join quickly

Try going for the dedicated servers instead. Much easier.

I believe there is an issue right now causing this, it's been very smooth for 3000+ players up until now.
I'm sure they will fix it shortly.

Tired old issue that just doesn't seem to go away. Blaming it on Steam is also getting to be old as well.

RE: Finding a server is a massive chore
exactly my thoughts, i will never buy this game in this state. the serverbrowser is a complete mess. never have i seen such a bad serverbrowser. never. and i played many games. even if the game is out for some time now, it feels like a beta. and programming a serverbrowser isnt that hard, btw...
u also gotta love tha fact, that the browser sometimes shows me a ping of 200 for servers i allready played on and know i get about 50. then im not allowed to join because the server has a ping limit of 150. EPIC FAIL!
as it is now, most people wont buy the game because they cant get into a game and to be honest, i think the devs deserve it... sorry, i really like the game itself, but the serverbrowser is so bad, they just deserver it because they have been so lazy over the last months not fixing it.

This game IS in beta, correct? Problems should be expected. I just hope they fix the browser soon.

RE: Finding a server is a massive chore
As I said in other thread they should just make the game work with existing server browsers like HSLW, Qtracker, GamSpy, etc... they have tons of features, open-slot watch... I do this with games 10 years old, It bogus me that games nowadays requires you to use under developed server browsers when things worked much better a decade ago...
