This weekend (Thursday July 22 -> Sunday July 25) we will have a free to play weekend. So get ALL your friends together and play some Lead and Gold!

We will try our best to increase the numbers of servers during this period and mails will go out to all the current server partners to have them up the number of available servers.

If you know that you have a descent computer to spare and a good connection and want to host a server of your own you can find excellent guides on how to set up your own servers here.

Thank you for posting this and thanks for the free weekend and 50% off on the game. I bought the game earlier today and I am happy with it now that dedicated server files are out.

I have told all of my friends to either buy the game to take advantage of the 50% off or either try the free weekend.

In 1 or 2 days I will have a dedicated server box up and running in a data center around NY / PA area (USA) with 100mbps/100mbps connection and will host lead and gold on it. I think this is a good idea for the 50% off and the free weekend as it should make the player base or lead and gold community bigger plus grow. Good move!

Just downloaded game from Steam
But it offers me to buy the game , I can't play Free Weekend , what's the problem?????

i installed the game from steam and the screen is black is it because i didnt install physx or some other thing please tell me... im clueless right now...

I'm a little stressed out now... I downloaded the game yesterday via steam, played free weekend, but when I saw that the free weekend was extended (overjoyed) steam wouldnt let me played, my only option was to purchase the game.. and I think this game is so over the top awesome so I actually bought it, but STILL my only option is to purchase the game, even though I have it in transactions.... anyone having similar problem? or even better, a solution?

If a game you bought does not appear in your list of games even after restarting Steam... contact Steam support.
