i've done it a few times jiggling the buttons, does anyone know the correct way to do it? or am i totally imagining things?

thats not true lol... i to have shook off a bear trap by moving the left stick... doesnt happen alot ... but it does happen.... if draw says you are imagining things you are not...

Its probably a bug.. when you move your stick and your gray circle gets bigger and smaller... the bug is happening you can get out of the bear trap alot faster by moving stick... if the circle is not moving then you cant make it go faster..... its not in your mind it really does happen.

It will be a hard one to reproduce LnG God Daniel... it literally happens maybe 1 time out of 50+ games..... it happened today for me though 1 time.. in the barn level... I was able to move the left stick really fast for the first half.. and didnt touch it for the 2nd half... im gaurenteeing you there is a difference... but i do usually play while smoking that whacky tabacky lol... but nah there is a definite difference in how fast the timer disappears.
